SHORE EXCURSIONS

Shore excursions are activities that take place while your cruise ship is in port and should be booked in advance.


​Arriving in multiple ports you are unfamiliar with and expecting to find the best things to do would be challenging at best and disastrous at worst. In most cases, shore excursions give you access to something that might otherwise be hard

to arrange on your own.
 
​A shore excursion could be a sightseeing bus tour, a guided visit to a museum

or historic site, an athletic activity (like a hike, bike ride or snorkel outing), a day

at the beach or a cooking or dance class. Shore excursions typically highlight

the marquee attractions or culture of the destination you're visiting. Sometimes

an excursion will take you to sites within walking distance of your cruise; on other occasions, they might take you on a day trip to a nearby city
